On April 5, Spring Venture Group and the Kansas City community celebrated the opening of the new SVG headquarters in downtown KC. Mayor Sly James, City Councilman Scott Taylor, and representatives from multiple companies who helped achieve this goal, joined us in celebration.

Mayor James congratulated SVG on its move, proudly stating that it is companies like SVG, who bring their business and people to the area, that make downtown Kansas City one of the best revived downtowns in America.

Combined with city-wide initiatives for growth, he is proud to see KC businesses coming together for one common goal: “to make Kansas City best.”

“In the last seven or eight years, (Kansas City) has had a tremendous run of success and you are a part of that,” Mayor James said to SVG employees in attendance.

SVG moved its HQ to Kansas City in 2013, but due to rapid growth, the Crown Center location quickly hit its space limits. With an expected growth of 450 new jobs in the next three years—and 1000 in the next six—it was apparent that securing a new location was necessary. As a company who has been twice named to Ingram’s Best Places to Work in KC list, this move represents SVG’s commitment to maintaining both its facilities and values that make it such a remarkable place to work, according to CEO Chris Giuliani.

“(A huge aspect) driving our growth is the incredible team we have at Spring,” Giuliani said. “With over 500 people today, and growing every single month, it’s an amazing team to be a part of. We are focused every day on making this a better place to work.”

The new 130,289-sq ft HQ, just blocks from the KC Power and Light District, was redesigned with employees in mind. Each floor boasts its own coffee bar and small kitchen area, state-of-the-art standing desks and 360-degree views of our favorite city. The industrial feel, mixed with modern touches of glass and open floor plans, pairs perfectly with SVG’s dedication to innovation.

As the fastest-growing business in Kansas City, the new design and ample space gives SVG the room it needs to reach its fullest potential. And it turns out that space is 18-stories tall. If you are looking for a challenge and want to join a growing team with endless possibilities, Spring Venture Group is the place for you. Check out our current openings.
