Inside SVG: Kylea Meneilly

For this month’s Inside SVG, we chatted with Sales Agent and at-your-desk fitness fanatic, Kylea Meneilly.

What is your favorite part of being a Sales Agent?
I love that my job is to help people. Many of our clients come to us in difficult situations, and we genuinely have their best interests at heart. I’m able to sleep at night knowing I helped them find the best solution.

What’s the biggest piece of advice you’d give to any first year agent?
Don’t sweat the small stuff. Don’t let little things affect you in a big way. If it doesn’t matter, don’t let it consume your day. Use your sales experiences to make you better!

How has SVG helped you grow?
I came to SVG having never been in sales before, and now I’ve succeeded in that challenge. Since working here, I have more confidence to tackle my next big challenge head-on!

Any tips for staying strong during Medicare’s busiest season, the Annual Enrollment Period?
Try doing a small work out at your desk, it’s the best! You can find me using resistance bands, doing monster walks, curls, and leg extensions at my desk at any point during the day. I would do pushups at my desk, but that would be awkward talking to a client while I’m out of breath.

If someone were to describe you in three words, what would they be?
Honest, adventurous, and thoughtful.

If you were Mayor of KC, what would your campaign slogan be?
“Be kind to one another.”

What about SVG makes you proud to work here?
The values of our company make me so proud to work here. Authenticity, innovation, and accountability are very much a part of our everyday work lives.
